Prior to your surgery, you will need to complete the registration process. We have made this convenient for you by offering online registration, registration by phone, or registration at the Surgery Center of Decatur facility.
Complete the following steps to register for your procedure:
Register Five to Seven Days Before Your Surgery Please complete the registration process five to seven days before your scheduled procedure. You can register online by using the unique website link provided by The Surgery Center of Decatur, by phone, or by appointment by calling 256-560-2892. If you are coming to the Center, registration hours are between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. You must bring your photo ID and insurance cards, if registering at the Center.
Take Care of Financial Arrangements Any deductibles and/or co-payments will be due at the time of registration. All financial arrangements must be made with the business office prior to the date of the procedure.
Arrange for Any Pre-Procedure Testing Laboratory tests, EKGs, and x-rays need to be done at least 5-7 days before your procedure to allow the anesthesiologist time to review the results. These tests may be performed at Decatur Morgan Hospital, located near the Center or at any other accredited facility in the area. Please understand that laboratory or x-ray results should be at the Center five to seven days before your procedure so that an anesthesiologist can review the information and, if any abnormalities are found, contact you and your surgeon to discuss the results.
