Routine testing can help prevent colorectal cancer or find it at an early stage when it’s smaller and may be easier to treat. If found early, the 5-year survival rate is more than 90%.
Surgery Center of Decatur is pleased to offer an Open Access Colonoscopy Program. If you are age 45 or older with an average risk for colon cancer, you may be able to schedule a colonoscopy without having an office visit first. This saves you time and the cost of an office co-pay.
